The NewJack Academy is offering a five week intensive boot camp where aspiring comedians can hone their funny bone. Taught by veteran comedian Becky Donohue on Saturday mornings in September (classes will start in mid-Sept, check back for exact dates), the course will give students the basics of stand up comedy and teach middle level comics how to make comedy their career. Students will write and perform their own material each week in front of Donohue and class members. At the end of the course, each student will perform a six minute set in front of a live audience on the mainstage at Comix. This class will sell out. So, reserve your seat today.
