Judy Gold and Me

Thoughts on why the comedy business is so nuts...

Here I am chilling out with Judy Gold during the NYCC.  Judy took what was an extremely COLD audience and whipped them to life.  It was inspiring and I am rarely inspired lately.  The comedy business is nonsense because it values - especially in women - what's cute and castable.  When in reality, it's experience - life experience and comedy experience - that makes a comic good.  Judy is a great example of that and I hope that I'm slowly achieving it as well.

A lot of people ask me, "why I produce".  The simple answer is to pay my bills, to take money away from non-real-comic producers, and to live, while I get as strong at comedy as possible.  It's a long road, but with comedy you're always learning and that's an absolutely invaluable trip.

See my "special events" section to check out Judy and myself performing in "Match Game Live" for pride.
